We use our website as our own playground and sketchpad for webdevelopment. Some functionalities and designs might change when we will think it needs changing!
Parabol Studio is an Oslo-, Amsterdam- (and occasionally elsewhere) based graphic design studio founded by Sara Risvåg, Bjørnar Pedersen and Sepus Noordmans in 2020. The studio started after years of collaborating remotely through online media. We are a young studio, but with years of experience.
We operate within a wide bandwidth, from graphic design, printed matter and our own press to digital design, motion graphics, websites and more. Parabol extends with radio waves through a collaborative network of designers, illustrators, artists, architects, photographers and developers. Together we take on private and public commissions, both big and small, as well as self-initiated projects. All that is necessary to change the frequency of operation is to replace the feed antenna with one that works at the new frequency.
It is important for us to maintain a high-quality design focus and find collaborators that share this same passion. We like to work with a balance between clear communication, crisp typography and a bit of obstruction. We have an inquisitive approach to our projects, and prefer research-by-doing as our process. We build long-term relationships with clients and collaborators as a continuation of our work method.
Previous symbols of dedication such as heavy workloads and late nights are traded in for extra time with the tele-antenna. It is important for us to create a healthy work environment. For this reason we operate with 4 day work weeks and 6 hour workdays. We find that the extra space in our lives creates better energy at work <3

All that is necessary to change the frequency of operation is to replace the feed antenna with one that works at the new frequency. Some parabolic antennas transmit or receive at multiple frequencies by having several feed antennas mounted at the focal point, close together. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parabolic_antenna
